The Zonta Club of the Joliet Area's annual fundraiser takes place Friday, February 9, 2024, beginning at 5:30 pm at the Jacob Henry Mansion in downtown Joliet.
 

Join us for a Mardi Gras themed evening with a Creole cuisine buffet, New Orleans-style music, a 50/50 raffle, fabulous raffle baskets and our presentation honoring the 2024 Woman of Distinction, the amazing Amirrah Abou-Youssef. Each year our club selects a woman in the community who actively works to support and improve the status of women and girls and/or has a history of leadership and success in a non-traditional role as a woman.

 

The proceeds from the fundraiser support our club's scholarships for young women in Joliet area high schools to attend college, as well as funding small grants given to area non-profits and agencies that support and serve women and girls in need. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds benefits Zonta International's global initiatives benefitting women and girls.
