The Zonta Club of Joliet is blessed to have anthropologist Pamela Hunte as a member since 2008. Pam worked with international groups aiding in education and research and has been instrumental in our club supporting the Jebreel Learning Center near Herat, Afghanistan. Pam has been keeping our club updated on the latest challenges for women and children in Afghanistan. At our September hybrid meeting, Pam was our featured speaker, providing a brief history of this worn-torn country and what the future might be like for those still there.
