Joliet Pride is a family-friendly event for the entire Joliet community to come together to celebrate Pride month. This inaugural fest celebrated the 3rd friendly LGBTQ community in Illinois. Some of the events included a resource fair of non-profit organizations, food trucks, family-friendly DJ, Story Time with Miss Foozie, the mascots from the Joliet Slammers, face painting, touch-a-truck with Joliet Police and Fire departments, LGBTQ History Display, Scales and Tales Traveling Zoo (including a sloth) as well as past and present Miss Gay Joliet's in a musical review.
