ZCJA Installs New Board Members and Inducts New Member

The final full membership meeting of the 2024 season concluded with quite the to-do! In no particular order, the Zonta Club of the Joliet Area:

• Installed 2 new board members, Karen Lega and Peggy Field

• Inducted a new member, Shayla Powell, of the Blueprint Agency, a non-profit

• Decided where our fundraising monies would go (50/50 split between our Zonta International International Fund and the Young Women in Public Affairs YWPA Fund))

• Reviewed our VERY successful Spring Area Five Workshop and congratulated the committee on their successful planning skills

• Talked about the 2024-25 Vision for our club

• Heard a report from our Small Grants Committee as to which small grants are to be awarded. Non-profit awardees have been invited to attend the final 2024 ZCJA Board meeting on May 28.
