The Zonta Club of the Joliet Area has a long history of awarding small grants to local nonprofit organizations that provide programs that directly impact women and girls in the Joliet area. ZCJA is a local club of Zonta International, a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls. The Joliet Club is made up of business and professional women. The club partners with local like-minded organizations to provide service to women and young girls and fundraises to put toward local scholarship opportunities, their international projects and local charities.
In 2023, ZCJA awarded $5000 in grants to four organizations: Bridges to a New Day, Trinity Services, Inc., Habitat for Humanity/Will County and Blueprint Agency NFP.
